Critics' Choice TV Awards: 'American Idol,' Jon Stewart among winners
The first-ever Critics' Choice TV Awards were held Monday in Los Angeles, and it may have very well proved to be a worthy shake-up of what we have come to know and expect from most TV-based award shows. There were not only a number of winners represented that the Emmys have ignored in the past, but also some shows that have failed to get recognition in the past finally received a bit of love. (However, the show did end up giving the two top prizes to familiar faces.)

The way they did Idol in the very beginning was the best! Bringing on all the intertainers who are famous is lame. They already made it now it's the people trying to make it to give them their shot! If anything why not bring back some of the old Idols from first to the present. Give them the reconition that they worked hard for. You had nine finalist and you never bring all the winners back. Only certain ones. What about Kelly Clarkson. Every song you gave her to sing she did the with heart and sole. To me she was one of the best Idols ever.
