Title: .Net Architect The incumbent in this position serves as a senior architect for .Net and Mobile Computing solutions for PennDOT. The Senior Architect will serve as the primary software architect for a project to deploy Windows-based mobile devices with custom software to PennDOT district staff in order to collect local road network and asset information. The solution will involve working with Microsoft.NET, Windows mobile computing, Oracle Spatial and ESRI GIS tools. The candidate will help PennDOT solidify strategies for mobile and geospatial applications development. The candidate will work with ESRI technicians to deliver a pilot solution. The candidate will also lead a development team to build out the pilot into a comprehensive solution and coordinate full deployment.
