'Basketball Wives' review: Meeka Claxton, Tami Roman fight at beach polo event
For some inexplicable reason, Meeka opens her yap, asking (practically implying) that Tami was intoxicated. Which she wasn’t.That sent Don Tami Roman into a rage, to the point where Tami all but put out a hit on Meeka’s life. Claiming that Meeka’s only relevant because she’s talking about her (I’m getting a Somaya-Olivia/“ Love and Hip Hop ” flashback here), Tami stormed out in a huff, worried that she might do bodily harm to Claxton.
Story : Evelyn Lozada, Royce Reed throw drinks at each other “What I’m saying is, if you’re gonna take it there, I’m gonna finish it,” Tami told Royce, explaining why she didn’t back down to Meeka.
It was weird to see Royce Reed play peacemaker by episode’s end, trying to calm Tami down. Didn’t I see you hurling wine glasses last week and calling Evelyn a ho?
I’m just saying.
EVELYN AND SHANIECE
This episode of “Basketball Wives” also saw Evelyn concerned that her 17-year-old daughter, Shaniece , might move out to California to go to school. That bothered Evelyn to the point where tears streamed down her face, as she expressed her concern over her only child moving so far away from friends or family.
As an aside, why does Shaniece seem more poised and mature than her own mother? Granted, she’s a little dry. A little boring, if you will. But definitely more mature and centered. THE BEST OF THE REST
Jennifer’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Eric Williams , summoned Suzie for a meeting with his “business partner.” Thinking she was going into a meeting about real estate, Eric tried to talk Suzie into becoming the leading lady of his upcoming new movie (though he has no experience in making movies, producing movies, or probably even working a home video camera).
Not only did Eric have a role pegged for Suzie, but he hoped Royce would jump on board, too. And because he’s such a nice guy, he planned to give them both the opportunity to get naked on camera, as well.
Jennifer’s really gonna miss Eric. He’s a catch.

We then learned about tides and how to read chart. The Marine Lab depend on tide charts for the planning of boat rides in and out of the docks. I never really understand the importance of tides until I came here and witness the tides first hand. If you go out on a high tide, you must know at what time to come back (the next high tide). If you come in during low tide, your boat will get stranded and you will get stuck and will have to wait for the next high tide.
