Medina Fall Festival events include a parade of 10:30 followed by a pedal pull for children ages 3-12, silent auction and bake sale, 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Legion hall, tractor / truck pull, 13 hours south of the school (entry $ 10, $ 5 with festival button), bingo, 19:30 in the Legion Hall, and street dance. Feeding beef noon at the town hall.

"Walk Out of Darkness" on suicide prevention and awareness, 10 am, McElroy Park.

Open house from 1 to 17 hours, Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge.This event will be hosted by Birding Drives Dakota, the volunteer group Friends of refuge, and staff Arrowwood Refuge.

All-you-can-pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 hours, Applebee. Tickets: $ 6. The fundraiser is for the team to Jamestown Area Grief Support.

Fort Ransom Sodbuster Days, from 10 hours, Fort Ransom State Park. Field demonstrations, cooking, crafts, games, music. Custer Memorial Company conducts e 7th Calvary. Admission: $ 5 per person, children 12 and under admitted free. The park entrance also feel abandoned. Park is located two miles north of Fort Ransom.

Historic day, from 1 to 16 hours, Fort Seward.Activities include presentations and demonstrations of life in Fort Seward and the U.S. border, usually during the years 1870 and 1880. The program is presented by Limpy Jack Clayton, starring Keith Norman. There is no charge for admission. Fort Seward Interpretive Centre is open before and after the presentation.

Repair flood, 10 am to noon Central, Law Enforcement, 205 Sixth St. SE, Jamestown. Federal Emergency Management Agency mitigation specialists will provide information on how to clean mold and to protect homes against future flooding.A representative of the National Flood Insurance will talk about insurance protection against flooding. The event is free.

Patriots Day Freedom Walk / Parade by Jamestown city. The event begins with all clubs Veterinarians, 116 First St. E. half National Guard greeting, 24:45; half mile walk to downtown Jamestown, 13 hours, starting with the Club of all veterinarians. Dessert, followed rerefreshments (about 1:40 p.m.), Followed by the short program to commemorate the tragedy of 9 / 11 and show of support for the troops, first responders. Sponsor: Council of patriotism.
