After the slow news cycle last week the industry is buzzing with pre-E3 announcements that won’t get lost in the shuffle. For example, Konami revealed some HD collections for some of its biggest properties. Hint: (!)

Sony is still restoring services and content after the PlayStation Network outage and now the PlayStation Store is back up. Be sure to download your free PS3 and PSP games as part of the “Welcome Back” program. Also, look for more news on the NGP after Sony revealed its backwards compatible functionality and launch titles already. Will it be called Vita? We’ll know soon enough.

We have trailers galore including XCOM, Prey 2, RAGE, Saints Row 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Tomb Raider, and Darksiders II so check those out.

THQ has been on a renaming spree with titles like Metro: Last Light, the sequel to Metro 2033. Expect more official announcements during the various press conferences we’ll be attending.

I want to give y’all a little update on Flyer and his progress on this exploit … I recently had the opportunity to confirm it myself — a bin loader, not just another “Hello World.” That bin loader loaded and executed a binary as if Sony signed it themselves. What does that mean? Well if (or when) the game title is announced and the exploit released the underlying framework for playing homebrew is damn near done.

Furthermore, Flyer pm’ed me earlier in the a.m., and in that message Flyer mentions discovering another save data exploit. Only this time: it’s a demo. A freely distributable demo — it can be downloaded anywhere. Same demo? No clue. But we’ll be testing it shortly and we’ll keep you posted.

Now you’re probably wondering, what the shit; what about a release!? And I’m sorry to say, I don’t know. That is up to the author. Just hang tight. It’ll happen.

it does run a cfw 5.03 hen. and yes it will run on a 3000 or go or any psp for that matter. the issue was never getting cfw to run but finding a way in. and when they do find a in sony pulls and patches the game. maybe this multi release will get the cfw devs off there collective asses and get a 6x cfw out. and what better way then threw a expolite so they can hack at the 6x on a running psp.

what runs cfw 5.03? only psp 1000 – 3000 are hackable atm (to the public). so you are wrong cfw is not availible for the go. and the issue is about getting a KERNAL exploit not just a USER mode expliot. It maybe that we can run homebrew soon on psp go and later 3000′s but unless alot more work is done and a KERNAL exploit is found CFW is out the window (assuming GEN want to/can assist).

nice news for everyone really, i have a feeling that this is going to be USED.. recently all we have had was savedata user mode crash/exploit now we have a user mode exploit that runs bin and CANT be patched by sony (this is a big deal). i wouldnt be suprised if the name of the demo isnt released until more useful stuff comes of it like an e loader, but have big hopes and ecpectations :)

Since there is a bin loader, They might have access to the flash – dump it, decrypt it using the Go it self and reverse engineer the firmware, thus CFW in the future.

What I like about this post is that the user also found an exploit in a demo, That means you do not need to physically connect to the PSN Store to get the requirements to do the exploit.
