Michael Buble fills out Crazy Love road trip

Since last check, the Grammy-winning singer has added another eight performances, including a trio of shows in his native Canada. The extended excursion now runs through an Aug. 16 concert in El Paso, TX. The full itinerary is at right.

"Crazy Love," Buble's fourth studio effort, hit retailers in 2009. Last fall, he re-released "Crazy Love" in a deluxe package dubbed "Michael Buble -- Crazy Love Hollywood Edition." It features several new songs, including the single "Hollywood," as well as live versions of "Haven't Met You Yet" and the Billy Vera tune "At This Moment."

Buble, who wed Argentine actress/model Luisana Lopilato in March, has teamed up with Napa Valley winery Beringer Vineyards on this year's "Crazy Love" tour. As part of that partnership, the artist will host a private performance at Beringer on July 8.

Fans are invited to enter for a chance to win a VIP experience in wine country, where they will enjoy a trip for two, complete with hotel accommodations for two days/three nights, transportation to and from the performance and a VIP tour of the winery. Earlier this month, Transworld Publishers announced plans to release Buble's memoir in October. The work will be under the creative direction of photographer Dean Freeman, according to a note published on Buble's website.

Stanley Cup finals: Michael Bublé reschedules concert to attend ...

We’ve always liked Michael Buble, and now we know why: He announced to fans yesterday that he was rescheduling tonight’s concert at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun to Thursday night so he could attend Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals in his hometown, Vancouver. Technically, the message on Bublé’s website says the change in date is to “accommodate all ‘Die-Hard’ hockey fans in the Northeast, so they can view game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals,” which airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. It’s convenient for him that his beloved Canucks are facing off against the Boston Bruins so that sounds somewhat altruistic instead of entirely (and wonderfully) self-indulgent.

Bublé’s fans, at least the ones who know him well, will likely forgive him the inconvenience: After all, they probably know the story of him kissing the Stanley Cup backstage at a concert in 2008. Cup keeper Mike Bolt, who considers it one of Stanley’s best celeb encounters, set the scene for EW when he brought the Cup by our offices last year: “The storyline for Michael was that some German radio station was giving him an award, and this was like 15 minutes before he goes on stage. So they knock on the door. ‘Hey, are you ready to do this?’ ‘Yeah, yeah come on in.’ And in I walk,” Bolt said. “He just lit up like a 9-year-old kid at Christmas. I think we screwed up his entire concentration. They’re like, ‘Michael, five more minutes.’ He goes. ‘Five more minutes? I need more time than that. I don’t want to let the Cup go.’ He plays [the game] himself. The backstage passes were photos of Michael playing hockey.” Watch that below, along with a clip of him attending a Canucks game against San Jose earlier in the playoffs. If only we could get him sitting next to Rachel McAdams …

I know the people who were going to the concert tonight are probably disappointed BUT…..having attended Monday nights show in Providence, TRUST ME, you want a rescheduled show as opposed to the very fast-forward show we got due to game 6. I am a die-hard Michael Buble fan and I saw his show this past March in Boston so I know for sure that we got an abridged version Monday night. Being a dedicated and loyal fan I will forgive him but I do wish my tickets had been for tonight so I would be able to get a do-over and not the rush job we witnessed. I forgive you Michael and don’t worry, I’ll be happy to comfort you as you told us you would do for your friend Milan Lucic when we take the cup home to Boston tonight!
